US E-Commerce site for Zara!!!!!

I happen to be one of those unfortunate souls who lives in a state where there is no Zara! Yes, tis sad, but on September 7 that will all change. Zara is launching a US e-commerce site. Nothing has made my summer more than the excitement and anticipation of being able to shop Zara online. This was more exciting than hearing that H&M will be doing the same some time in 2012. I'm literally over-the-moon. I had the opportunity to shop at Zara on a trip to Atlanta earlier this year and I have been in love with them ever since. They are uber-affordable luxury to say the least. Sharp, structured blazers, beautiful tulip-skirt dresses, florals so amazing you can smell them, and shoes! Lots and lots of shoes! I will be on the site at midnight September 7 to feed my Zara deprived closet.

Style Stars: Margherita Missoni

I love browsing through Zimbio's photos and admiring the style of some of my favorite stars. It's also a great place for finding new stars to admire. This is how I happened upon Margherita Missoni. She's young, amazing, and always strategically clad in a design from her family's clothing empire. I love her play on color and prints, no surprise being that print are a staple of the Missoni brand. I how effortlessly chic she always seems to be. Her style is definitely inspiring and the colors are infectious, which is why I chose her as the person to debut a little recurring section called: Style Stars. These are people whose style makes me drool, doodle, and daydream. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Years Later....

Sometimes magazine editorials are just pretty pictures, and sometimes they seeds of inspiration for years to come. The latter perfectly describes the Agyness Deyn editorial that crossed my mind as I lay here fighting sleep on this Sunday morning. I remember when I got this magazine, I must have looked at this editorial a hundred times, studied every detail and absolutely fell in love with every look. Now here two and a half years later, re-encountering these photos through a nifty Google search, I've fallen in love again. The colors, the locations, the hair, the lips, the dresses, the love, it's all beautiful to me. Anyway, without further adu, here's  the February 2009 Vogue US editorial of Agyness Deyn and then-boyfriend Albert Hammond Jr. Admire!!!

Rachel Zoe has a Tumblr!!!!!

I am not a big fan of Tumblr blogs. I feel like it's just a bunch of recycled material spread among however many blogs the site hosts, but enough about that, because they've recently welcomed some very status rising clientele, i.e. Miss Fashion herself Rachel Zoe. I absolutely adore everything about Rachel Zoe. Her cute little sayings, her Tumblr will most definitely be MA-JOR!!!, her television show, The Zoe Report, and her new clothing line coming out in August. I need to own every pair of shoes from that collection, especially the double platform wedges, I die!!!! So far her blog seems to be mostly about her upcoming Rachel Zoe collection, which was available for pre-order about a week or so ago. Each grouping of pieces describes the kind of girl the clothes belong to, or were made for. Kind of a boring start, but I have high hopes for her blog. Hopefully, it's filled with useful styling tips, elaborations on her Zoe Report newsletters (subscribe if you don't already), useful tips for aspiring stylists and so much more. I'm more than excited about this, I only wish she had come to blogger lol.
